Former English Amateur champion Danny Willett secured a one-shot lead after the first round of the PGA Championship at the newly renovated Wentworth.
The 22-year-old Yorkshireman finished with three birdies for a round of 66, five under on the new-look West Course.
Ross Fisher is two back, Luke Donald three behind and fellow Englishmen Lee Westwood and Paul Casey one under.
Lee Westwood has moved into the top three in the world rankings for the first time in his career.
The 37-year-old Worksop player is now only behind Phil Mickelson and world number one Tiger Woods.
Lee Westwood shot a superb seven-under-par 65 to lead by one shot at halfway in the Players Championship.

The Faldo Series has announced it schedule of UK Championships for the forthcoming season with 9 tournaments being played on some of the most famous courses across England, Scotland and Wales.
