The Lee Westwood Golf School Open Day is to be held on Saturday 17th April at the Macdonald Portal Hotel, Golf & Spa in Portal, Cheshire, to which any young golfers are invited and would ask that any interested parties contact us and confirm their attendance on 0844 879 3467 or email our team at info@leewestwoodgolfschool.com.
Maintaining an interest in education whilst developing golfing talent within 16 year olds and above, has always been an area that will benefit from a structured and results driven programme – the team at the Lee Westwood Golf School will aim to deliver this, through our structured two year full time programme.
The management team behind the Lee Westwood Golf School have an excellent track record of achievement – having founded and run the Junior Golf Academy – the only full time golf/education school on the island of Ireland- www.juniorgolf.org.uk. The programme has been further developed and honed to ensure that all students attending the Lee Westwood Golf School will have a fantastic experience and achieve the results that they are capable of; in both education and golf.
As you can imagine, I personally have a passion for the success of this programme and am genuinely excited at the talent we will uncover and results we will achieve.
“The school is an extension of me giving something back to a game which has given me a lot. Our school hopes to give all those… the chance to develop their golf skills along with life skills and, very importantly, their education.”- Lee Westwood

Former Bondhay junior Danny Willett finishes a respectable T6 in the Maybank Malaysian Open 2010.
Korean teen sensation Noh Seung-yul secured a dramatic one-stroke victory over illustrious countryman K.J. Choi after pulling off an audacious final-hole birdie on Sunday.
The 18-year-old Noh produced the unlikeliest of birdies at the par five 634-yard 18th hole to close out the US$2 million tournament with a final round four-under-par 68 and a 14-under-par 274 winning aggregate.
“This is more special than my first win,” said Noh, who was triumphant at the 2008 Midea China Classic en route to becoming the Asian Tour’s Rookie of the Year that season.
