Former English Amateur champion Danny Willett secured a one-shot lead after the first round of the PGA Championship at the newly renovated Wentworth.

The 22-year-old Yorkshireman finished with three birdies for a round of 66, five under on the new-look West Course.

Ross Fisher is two back, Luke Donald three behind and fellow Englishmen Lee Westwood and Paul Casey one under.
