Tournament Information

Join the region’s best junior golfers and participate in one of the year’s most talked about junior golf events with patronage from European Tour Professional golfer and former Bondhay Golf Club junior Daniel Willett.

The 36 Hole competition is played over two days between 16 – 17 August 2010 and offers an amazing opportunity to challenge one of the toughest championship courses in Nottinghamshire.

As well as playing this magnificent venue, players will experience the thrills and spills of playing in a major open event, being challenged in tournament conditions with the chance of the odd press interview and media coverage.

Eligible Players

The Danny Willett Junior Championship is open to all amateur golfers who will be 18 years of age or under on 30 July 2010. A maximum of 80 competitors will be selected to play in the 36-Hole Junior Championship.

If applications exceed 80 then a ballot will be held soon after the entry deadline of Friday 30 July 2010. Players with lower handicaps will be given priority and on these terms Bondhay Golf Club regrets that some players may be balloted out.

Format

Individual stroke play over 36 holes.

Handicap

Entry handicap limits: Boys +6 to 24, Girls +6 to 30.

Prizes

1st – 3rd Gross and Nett, Boys and Girls.

Winner of the Gross will be crowned the Daniel Willett Junior Champion and the Nett winner will receive the Daniel Willett Junior Medal.

Entrance Fee

Entry to the Danny Willett Championship costs £20.00 including two competition rounds and one practice round.
